Morning Adults! Happy Hump Day. Local shenanigans (elections) with very good results. It is nice the jerk you remember from high school gets booted off the school board. Small victories!

Mondays are usually my fav to take off. Most everyone I know prefers to take Fridays, but I find those to be 'coast to the weekend' days 99% of the time. I still have two more days to figure out. I've already got Turkey and X-Mas week, and the Mondays in December marked down.

The bro is coming to NY for his yearly conference, and is seeing Follies Saturday night. Provided his plane arrives on time. So proud of him. Picked that show all on his own.

'Morning, all! Two meetings in a row this morning - but there was chocolate cake at the last one, so it's all good. Off to court this afternoon for a former friend's sentencing. Hubby wants me to text him the judge's sentence and guess who left her cellphone at home today?

I agree with Girly, usually Fridays are easier than Mondays, but since my Friday opened up, I figured why not take it. I forgot it was Veteran's Day.

I may do some early holiday shopping to get it done. But, no cookies this year. Last year just about did me in!

We work Veteran's Day, but being we're part of the bank and they're off we get a "lieu of" day. I may just change one of my vaca days to a "lieu of" because we can carry 5 vaca days over until the end of March, but lose "lieu of" days which should be taken in 30 days of the holiday.

I had to just hush my warehouse boys about that. I'm all about healthy debate (and I'm actually pretty impressed with their views overall for being young 20something boys)but this is still a workplace and delving too far into the topics is inappropriate, plus, I sit right outside their door, and the more its mentioned/dissected the more quesy my stomach gets.
