Soooo... it seems my dad's appendix ruptured over the weekend. He thought he just had the flu or something and finally went to the drs yesterday. They did some tests and then called him around 5 to say get to the hospital ASAP your appendix actually busted a few days ago. They are ready for you in surgery. So he went right in and so far they are saying the surgery went well and he should make a full recovery.

I'm putting him in a freakin bubble. We all know how I feel about my dad, so him being in the hosiptal is killing me, but him being in one thousands of miles away = very frantic Tink.

The scariest thing is (and I'm finding is very common) that he actually started feeling better yesterday and was going to cancel his Dr's appt, but my step-mom convinced him to go anyway. hmmm, maybe I should go get some things checked out. It's normal to wake up several nights during the week for a few months now to your entire left arm/shoulder/upper body area to be numb, right? thought so.

Hey Somms!

I've been job hunting. It blows. But, I may have an interview next week. *fingers crossed*

Tink, the dogs are adjusting well. There were a few fights in the early days. All of which, Lila started. But, Cassie put her in her place and now they're doing fine. Not friends yet, but no longer enemies. Lila has become very outdoorsy. It's really cute. Casey, not so much, but she's doing pretty good. My two are staying with friends next week. I hope they behave themselves.
