Good morning to you all! I've been up since 4 and loving every single second of it all. I love pageantry!
It was great being I get up at 6 a.m. I turned the TV on and there she was getting out of the car. She looked stunning...true Royalty. It is exactly the gown a Princess should get married in. I was NOT a fan of Diana's gown...this one is BEAUTIFUL... regal...very Grace Kelly!
Morning! I thought Kate and her sister looked absolutely stunning. I'm glad I didn't wake up extra early though. The Royal Family were arriving when I turned on the television.

Hi Sir Dottie! I'd love to know what a "biscuit cake" is. British traditional wedding cakes sound dreadful - unless you like frosted fruitcakes.
Here are the ingredients..
Cake one:
12 ounces (340 grams) of chocolate (eating chocolate rather than cooking chocolate)
4 ounces (113 grams) of butter or margarine
One regular sized can of condensed milk
One or two packets of biscuits (British biscuits, digestives)
Cake two:
150g unsalted butter
275g golden syrup
400g milk chocolate
250g dark chocolate
200g white chocolate
275g digestives or wine biscuits

Get rid of the damn digestives and you've got a great dessert!
Moony, you need them to hold the cake together silly. I actually like them. I made an English dessert with them once and it was very good. Which reminds me that I need to get that recipe from my friend in Phuket.
Loved the dress, but thought the headpiece needed a little work.
I thoroughly enjoyed my scone and tea.
Since I haven't really been following all the hoopla the last few months, I hadn't realized William's hair was thinning.

Sweetie, I didn't say there was. It was just something I noticed for the first time today. Jeezus.

Yeah, he's got the royal folicle curse. Still a great looking lad. I actually liked her veil because it looked very much like my Mom's wedding veil - in 1947.

Ok, so having had my 4:30am breakfast and my 8:30am breakfast, I'm trying to decide what to have for my 12:30pm lunch.
I thought she was perfect for my AV today.
Moony, perhaps fish & chips?
Wills hair has been a great controversy since a lot of magazine covers photoshop it to be much much fuller than it actually is.
Which would explain why I didn't realize it, since I haven't been paying attention to the entertainment shows.

Couldn't find fish n' chips, so I went with Indian carryout since India was once part of the British Empire.
I'm eating Chinese...well Hong Kong was part of Britain for a long time

I made myself a chicken sandwich, spread with the last of the lime marmalade we bought at Fortnum & Mason in London last summer.

That sounds yummy! I never thought of putting lime marmalade to chicken - brilliant idea!
Moony, so true. Although tonight is Italian...well Italy is in Europe. So same-same

I could always use a nap. This is the time my eyelids start getting very heavy. Funny that usually by the time I get home I get a second wind.
