BB, I just got a cup of tea to keep awake. Long, busy and successful week.
Mrs. Brd did not get up for the wedding. I loved all the crazy hats.
Prom for C17 with a long time friend.
Happy Friday!
Deet is back.
HE will now only appear when he's posting from a mobile device.

That's too bad. I kinda liked the guy. Can't we have both of you? It's been done before, you know.
HE is on his mobile devices frequently, you know, so yeah, you'll see him again.
If I can get a new scanner, you may even "see" HE - AND that damned cello!

Waiting for family arrive for two days of family festivities.
I anticipate a bit of self-medicating may be going on ...
Happy Weekend Adults.
Good morning peeps! What an emotional rollercoaster ride today is. Bin Laden dead! Shames moving to the other side of the pond! Monday morning! Too much to handle...I wanna crawl back in bed. Safe travels LS. Our loss is Britain's gain.
Morning.
I have mixed feelings about the Bin Laden news. Yay, to some closure for people who really really need it, but what the retaliation could be is keeping me grounded in reality. I dunno, maybe I am watching too much Criminal Minds lately.
and my Pinky, I shall miss her greatly but this is such a positive positive event happening that it outweights everythign else. Safest of travels.

Once shames is settled I'm sure she will be starting our mornings off on here.
Saturday I got to see "Memphis" on the big screen. LOVED IT! What a show! What talent! Although Huey's voice was annoying me...I got used to it as the performance continued. It really did seemed he based it on George W.
Mornin'
I'm on the same roller-coaster with Tink and Moony. Very glad they got him, but a little apprehensive about the potential ramifications.
Last night was a surreal experience, even before the "BIG" news. J2 had never seen "Mommie, Dearest" so we watched it. He was cleaning for most of the first hour of the film - you have no idea how strange, and yet hilarious, it is to have what's on screen also being played out right in front of you at the same time. His one comment: "She seems reasonable to me."
After the movie moved from the cleaning scenes to the more outlandish stuff, he quickly lost interest in the film. "Well, that was a bad movie" was the only other thing he said about it. Hehehehehehehe...
Aren't yours?
That's when he said she seemed pretty reasonable, Boobs!

I cannot get on the celebration bandwagon over *his* death. I am glad it's taken care of, but celebrating anyone's death just doesn't feel right to me.
On other news - I applied to direct at this one theatre in Jan. They said they had directors for the current season, but that I should resubmit once they announced the next season, letting them know which show I'd want to direct. Saw the season yesterday - guess what show they're doing in February?
Yes. A Chorus Line. I am writing a carefully worded letter so as not to come across as a total freak yet as the right person for the job.
