Very nice, Moony. A little tame, but nice. I went to a party in my parents' building and was still curled up on their couch by about 2am.
How about yours?

Posted: 1/2/08 at 9:16amTink, do you think it might be something in your office environment that's causing your headaches? It's possible. Something in the air ducts perhaps?

Posted: 1/2/08 at 9:17amNice and quiet, actually. For a dozen or so years we've always gone to a friend's home for a potluck dinner party - usually about 15 people. Over the weekend our friend (the hostess) had to leave town for a family emergency so the party was cancelled and no one seemed to want to host it this year. We went to the movies, got back to toast the new year cuddled up together on the family room sofa, then fell alseep. It was really nice for a change - especially staying off the road after midnight.

Posted: 1/2/08 at 9:20amI, somehow, tore my contact in half while it was in my eye. It's now out and I'm squinting through the other. I'm waiting for the headache to begin. It's a good thing I type by touch not sight. (I hope)

Posted: 1/2/08 at 9:24amI hear ya, Moony. I haven't gone "out" out on New Year's since 2000. Before my parents moved into the condo, they had a party every year. Then after, we spent the next couple Eves in the Bahamas. This year, I stayed over and all I had to do was get in the elevator.

Posted: 1/2/08 at 9:34amI think the glasses ruin the effect. Something does...must be the glasses.

Posted: 1/2/08 at 9:38amReally, the glasses? I thought the nose job I had over the holidays would make me look more dashing.

It's overkill, mom.
Mom- you've returned to the av you had when I first joined. I knew I liked you the minute I was the chocolate martini. A woman of my own tastes. Someone just brought hot chocolate and homemade chocolate/chocolate chip biscotti into the office. I'm liking 2008 so far.

Posted: 1/2/08 at 9:54amI can't believe how addicted to Sweeney Todd as I am. I tried listening it a few times before, but never really caught interest. Then I saw the movie and really understood the story, and now I can't stop listening. I have all the different versions, but I am most liking the revival cast recording.
