Morning peeps !!! We're almost there !!! Coffee is brewing. Hopefully SOMMS has something warm today for breakfast for us.
Off to w*rk. Lata gators.
Good morning sweetie. I've got a PT session at 7:30 and then work all day. The fun is expected to arrive at around 8:00 (2-3 inches of snow). I HATE going to work in the snow. God intended people to stay home and play in the snow - not commute in it.
Where's Harris with the cocoa?
edit: Oh poop - it's already snowing and there's ice on the ground. I'd better get going. See you all here later.
No breakfast for me. Feeling punky. I should have tea, but I'd rather coffee.
'Morning all.

Hi ya Soapy. What's new with you?
Nothing much, working, dating(I do have a new boyfriend), being glued to bww, that's about it for me. What about you?
Nice aout the new bf...hope all isgoing we wih that.
Me? Nothing but work....work...work. New job is keeping me busy. That's not a bad thing though.
It's really not. As of January, I'll be all about school. Which reminds me, I should buy my books. . . . .I can put it off for another week.

Snow.
There's a reason it's a four letter word.
Roads iced over before they got treated. My 20 minutes commute took 1 1/2 hours - but I was lucky. I passed five accidents on my stop and go trip.
It's clear here so far, but I know we're getting some later.
Yay Soapy!
I'm just glad to hear you got there safely, moony!
Stay safe, Moonster!

Thanks, Tink. I have heat and food - all is well.
We are fielding numerous calls from students who are stuck out on the roads. My favorite call so far:" Hi, this is Katie. The traffic on the Pike is just crawling and I'm geeting tired of all this slow traffic. So I'm going to pull into Starbucks and wait for the morning rush hour to be over. I'll be there by lunch. Um....what time is lunch today?"
That's the best ever, Moony!

I know. It's hard not to laugh when they pull that. My reply:
"Katie, we have plenty of coffee here. You just stay on that road, sweetie, and I'll be in the front lobby waiting for you with a cup of hot coffee just for you. Cream or sugar?"
She said she'd be in as soon as possible......BUT SHE'S NOT HAPPY.
Nice reply, Moony.
I would have been "Great, can I get a nonfat caramel macchiato and a scone?"

She'd just be even later because she had to wait for the scone.
But you'd have a scone!

I wouldn't count on it. She'd appear empty-handed and say, "Opps."
Now THAT'S unacceptable.
Moonie, that was a brilliant reply!
I love students. I really do. They can be so creative.
hm... starbucks ...
Soapy - are you going back to NYC in January?
