I just bought some gifts online. I feel like I accomplished something today. None of it work-related, you understand, but you can't have everything.

I completely avoided the malls and stores this year, moony. And I love shopping. Did it all online. Except for jS' gift, which I'm getting this weekend.

I got a few things online. Not too much this year. It's a big gift card year for a lot of recipients on my list. Nothing seemed to really jump out at me, and I'd rather they get something they want. I still put the card in a box and wrap it, cause I want them to have something to actually unwrap.

I have to go shopping in this sick state today after work. I still haven't gotten Buzz enough to satisfy my insane holiday requirements.

Good news, they just sent out e-mail that we are off Xmas Eve and New Years Eve.

I am finished with all my shopping. In fact today I RECEIVED a gift! (I'm saving it for Christmas).

My big frustration today is knowing that my company's coming tomorrow and I suddenly have no place for them to sleep. When I got home last night I discovered that a leak in the plumbing had caused the plumbers to come out in the afternoon. The building management people let them into my apartment where they removed everything in a large walk in closet and then proceded to cut a huge hole in the wall. They put a matching hole in my bedroom wall. The contents of the closet were piled up around my bed making it impossible to get into. They were supposed to have returned everything to its proper place today but I'll believe it when I see it.
