Hey kids! I've been out on the road the past two days training teachers. The food was yummy, so no complaints. I can pick a good caterer! The gazillionaire gets back tomorrow from his business trip to London and Paris. He'd better bring me a little something, like a flat in Earl's Court or a pied a terre on the Champs Alysee.

Ha, ha, ha! Thanks for passing that along Q! I've always suspected that Brd was a closet pageant fanatic.

I actually had a teacher ask me today if I had duct tape with me.
She wanted it to tape a part back on her car. WTF? The best part ... I DID!!!!!

My sister in law was in pageants and she used duct tape! And, for the record, Q took the bait first! Tragically, my sister in law died of anorexia, so I am actual not a fan of pageants.

I'm very sorry for that Brd. This year's Miss America's platform is on the prevention of eating disorders, as she is recovering. She just spoke to Congess on the issue a few weeks ago and is doing some good work speaking across the country on her experience.

We did NOTHING to intervene! It is just so bizarre how quickly it turns from "hmm, she is too skinny" to organ failure. She suffered first from depression which led to her various eating disorders and addictions. People can recover, one of my relatives recovered and does well.

I do not know why we did not do more to help my brother with his wife's problems. He denied it and we ignored it. We are basically a nice and caring family, I guess the fact that many in my family suffer from obesity caused us to ignore it? My mother today could not visit my father in the hospital because of her weight. (He is home and actually well!)

Q, I did not really want to be on a thread in which papa was mocking other posters, so I moved it to here!

DGrant's departure was clearly understood by me at that time and today! We all could take a look at our numbers of posts and freak out! But, this site is awesome to me because we start with a basic interest - theater, and then we find threads to laugh and learn.
