I'm mssing my favorite peeps tonight!
Oh wait, that's not quite where we're going with this...
Did I mention the steak?
Run to the station and hop a train! Quick!!

I was just looking at the "Mitzi Gaynor visits SOUTH PACIFIC" story - she looks FABULOUS!
And I noticed that Kelli O'Hara was holding the souvenir book from the film of SP - I have that same book from when my Grandmother went to see it at Radio City Music Hall. She gave it to me just before she died when I was 8.
Mitzi is beyond DIVINE! What a babe!
Paolo looks really thin.
I'm seeing the Gaz tonight. Perhaps he'll give me his spare change to make up for the 10K I've lost in the last three days.

"Run to the station and hop a train! Quick!!"
What, and miss the steak? Do you KNOW me?!?
Seriously, I was invited but had to regretfully decline due to the %^**%#$#* Homecoming Weekend.
We've got steak here, too!
Damn Homecoming!

A commercial on the radio just had a bunch of people talking in unison. It reminded me of Xanadu. I still have tickets at home for what would've been the closing perf on Sunday.

Mooney - C15 is going to her first homecoming dance tonight!
Any great weekend plans? We have the same ole, football, etc.
We need a weekend away, but every weekend is booked though January (I am not kidding.) And, who travels during a depression?
5 hours!
ETA: My sister just sent me this very interesting link:
Alaskan Women on Palin
Just got a text that a friend just got laid off due to the economic crisis.

Brd - what fun for her! Take lots of pictures. Our Freshmen aren't allowed to go to the Homecoming Dace. They had their own Mixer in September and their "real" first dance is the Winter Ball in January. I'm helping the Sophomores decorate the auditorium tomorrow and chaperoning thje dance tomorrow night. Does C15 have a date or going "stag" (which we call "doe")?
Oh dear. I was wondering how long it would be before we start getting those messages. I have a couple of friends still at ad agencies and they are very, very nervous.
I know, Deet. There's some hush, hush meetings going on around here, too.
Moony, what's their theme?

I've gotten a few of those texts/emails this week, girly, it sucks.
This recent epidemic has sent my job into all kinds of craziness (my client is a large bank). I mean we are ok, but all the plans for the next couple of months work have been changing daily causing VERY LARGE headaches for me. I have been chasing my tail preparing large amounts of data that is really pointless if people would just calm down and think rationally.
Truthfully it's a little nerve-wracking around here, too. What with a major production starting performances next week, lots of bills coming and and ticket sales lagging, and a big fund-raising benefit in November. After the election.
Good times.
It could drive a person to drink.
It's FRIDAY!! Trying to stay positive.

Girly - it's "Under the Sea" Three hundred blue, aqua and green balloons will be filled with helium tomorrow afternoon.
Not by me.
I can think of a few people with enough hot air in them to handle that assignment.

Mooney (Can I call you BM like I did in the past?)
BM: She is going with one of her friends that she has known since age 4. Only last year she was saying that he was "ugly." My, does a year in the life of a teen change things. Actually, six of them from grade school are going together.

Maybe he got incredibly handsome in the past 12 months. Gotta love group dating!
I am looking forward to tonight!
(Now I just need to make it through the afternoon)
Worried about jobs? Yep. Things are going to get rough.
And fund-raising is going to be harder than ever...
Homecoming Dance. Such fun! Hope she has a ball.
