As close as you could get - Elk Grove Villiage.
I reserved my rental car last night, Brd. I'm all ready for my Chicago trip now!

When you are driving you can always look for the IKEA sign to get you back to your hotel!
I was actully going to go to IKEA today, but my dep was later than expected and I needed to fix the down spout that fell of the side of the house. I used my power drill and self driving screws which did the trick!
I love a man who knows how to use his power tools.
Yeah ... I'm not so much into power tools.
That's not what I'VE heard, DD!
Mmm-'kay. I don't know whom you're talking to?
I am.
I gotta go with Miss P on this one - a guy who can use power tools without having to call 911, HOT!
I love a man who can use his tools.

Not just tools, but self driving screws!
You've got a fabulous sense of things, Brd. Especially for a lawyer.

Yes, please!
I guess this is not the day for double entendres.

MissP - double entendres are ALWAYS a good thing!
Sweet DQ! Abba, the movie?! Why have I not heard of that? Must investigate.
Who the hell is Carter Oosterhouse?! Must go Google!! YOWZA!

Girly - he's one of the 'handymen' (God, I LOVE that term!) on HGTV or DIY Network - I can't keep them all straight.
How's THAT for a D.E., MissP?!?
That was quite brilliant, Q! I like.
I also like that Tool Man. I actually think he's better looking than Cheyenne!
I don't know you anymore, Miss P!
(just kidding. but really, we'll have to talk)
His body though...doesn't compare to Cheyenne's!
Hello adults still around for the evening - I have been out of communication lately...watching a lot of the Olympics...but generally just in a funky mood...not sure why, just am. I have to start planning a open house/reception for my son who is getting married in Philadelphia October 4 but I am having a hard time getting started. The reception is here in Michigan November 1. Don't want to go back to work either. See I am in a "funky" mood. I just want to keep going on vacations. lol
I know how you feel, Baddy. I was just thinking earlier today that "Vacation is the perfect state of being"! The days are getting shorter, and the free-spirit of summer is rapidly heading toward hibernation. So it's "normal" to feel like you're in a funk. I think a lot of us are right there with you.
I am actually thinking about spending time around the Xmas holidays in Michigan, so maybe we'll get to ring in the new year together!
For what it's worth...I love you!
It's worth a lot Miss P!! I love you too. Christmas in Michigan would make me very happy.
