Well, it's part of the business, that's why. If I leave and get my own plan, it not only costs ME more, but the current amazing plan will have to go kaput because its needs 3+ people.
After I graduate, he's welcome to keep paying it because it makes his cell phone bill cheaper (oddly enough). That was the only time he bitched about the cell phone.
When I give up the credit cards in a few months...that's gonna be rough.
I'm thinking about planning a big theatre/party weekend in December. How many of you would come? The dilemma is that West Side Story starts Dec. 16, which is a Tuesday, but Next to Normal is on the weekend of December 13-14. Nobody wants to come all the way down here the weekend before Christmas, do they?
I think I'd have it catered too because it's also Caldwell B. Cladwell's birthday and I would make the whole thing a big surprise party for him. Everyone on this thread is invited (I think.) But if I'm not guaranteed a big turnout, fughedabowdit. OOOH, I know. It can be a Raclette Party! What could be better than seeing a fabulous show in ther afternoon and coming home to a warm fireplace and yummy raclette. (Not to mention the booze)?
YWIW, you'd fly over, wouldn't you?
Honestly, December is a terrible time for me - it is year end for many fiscal years, which means many software contracts go finish in December.
So, unfortunately, not too likely.
Or maybe the weekend right after Xmas, December 27-28. Tell what you guys think. Because if I have enough people who want to see West Side Story's pre-Broadway tryout in DC, I can actually order seat NW before they're made available to the general public. Whaddya think, everybody????
(I can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people in beds and then there are couches and air mattresses and stuff, so everyone can stay here. There is even a nice hotel about 2 miles away.)
Think! And the n get back to me.
Oooh, sounds like fun. I have to wait to see what my finals schedule is like first, of course. I do, however, doubt I can do anything AFTER Christmas, as I'm hoping to be in Israel.

We'll be in Michigan over the holidays - which, oddly enough, is where I thought MissP was going to be . . .
I am THINKING about going to Michigan for the holidays, but not until AFTER Christmas itself. If I'm there, you will be my salvation! (You and the mass quantities we will consume.) XOOO
Well, Night/Morning Adults. Off to watch the second half of USA vs. Spain.
Behave!

Ahhh - well, we'll be there for the duration, so if you need 'saving', I'll be available!

I'm stuck down here with the relatives. New York at Christmas sounds so nice.

Hep - your sig quote cracks me up!
We'd love you to, too!
We're going to a party today. Friends of ours have it every year but usually in June. When they found out that we were going to be in California for most of June and would miss the party, they rescheduled it just so we wouldn't miss it! Isn't that sweet? It makes me feel so "desirable." (LOL!)
I have mounds of papers and records to file today.
That, a few errands, and a workout.
Casual Sundays rule.
Sitting at home waiting for work.
Ms. P - your invitation sounds appealing, alas I don't think there'll be any traveling this holiday for me.
Well, DD, then I'll just postpone the entire event until you CAN be there.
(I don't know if Arthur Laurents will delay the opening of West Side Story for you, but I'll ask. )
He should, Miss P!
Well, I was planning on sleeping all day, but sadly, productivity begged. I ordered some textbooks (for 80% less than list price, yay for used books!), cleaned out my entire closet, put together laundry, cleaned out my drawers, and made my giveaway pile even more humongous.
I am hoping for a Spring Fling to NYC for WSS.
As are we!

DD, we are also not traveling. Mrs. Brd has a commitment to stage a pageant at school and I just do not want to travel. I was not thrilled with the holidays where I was last year. The kids also prefer it here. Also, we should use some of the 200 pieces of china that we now own.
