I hate MF Dell. I had a corrupt file, and they convinced me to do a format C. I kept saying there has to be an easier way, and they assured me (by two people) that it was the only way.

I find out that I could probably have repair the corrupted file, rather than spend my entire sunday reloading my laptop. I did a full backup not more than two weeks ago, but I swear, I hate Dell.

Next time I am getting a Mac.

Everything but one application is back - thank goodness I did a complete backup just recently.

Y, I formatted a drive once and realized that could have probably saved it. I have FINALLY been using a back up at home. Lesson, implement a back up plan!

YWIW, don't tell me that! My new laptop is a Dell! I guess I better learn how to back up stuff. Not that I've got much to back up yet.
