Just saying, "Hi"
Anybody else up yet?
I am! I assume you're gone by now though. . .
I am, but I had a kitten gumming my arm this morning to play, so I have a good excuse.
Morning.
Evenin'.
I was within 10 feet of "him" this afternoon. I nearly died.
Clarify "him" for those of us a wee woozy on a Holiday weekend.
Who else would make me weak in the knees, YWiW?
Did you see Xanadu and almost grab Cheyenne?
Well, I thought it might either be Cheyenne, or that Tink had taken over your melon and it would be Roddick.
Almost Bingo, Shira. I did see XANADU again today (2nd time) and I saw him on the street after the show. I don't dare go anywhere near him - he scares me. In a perfectly divine way.
I saw it again on Friday I completely understand. My view from onstage was excellent.
Thigh-man's a ****cat. A real sweetheart.
ETA: Busy day today. So tired. Want to take a ride to Atlantic Highlands tomorrow. The weather's supposed to be gorgeous!!

What's Atlantic Highlands?
I feel like a day trip tomorrow.
It's a small town right before the bridge into Sandy Hook. Has a small observatory overlooking Sandy Hook. It's about 30 or so minutes from me. It's nothing spectacular, but I haven't been in years. From there my friend and I might just drive along Ocean Blvd. through Long Branch, Deal and Rumson and ogle the houses we'll never be able to afford.

Very nice, Girly. I was just in Coney, so I'm beached out for a bit, I think.
Busy weekend here. Went to the herbalist yesterday, then to see my cousin in the hospital, last night relaxed and did some paperwork.
Today, got Zander microchipped, errands, met with a HOA board member, laundry, and bought some toys for a friend who adopted a cat and is having trouble with it adjusting. It was a cat that was abandoned in the Iowa floods, and he is pretty messed up.
I am sending her my best cat secrets, to see if that helps.
BTW - it is sad that I prefer Bette's voice to Patti's when listening to Gypsy. I find her voice a bit distracting. Too over the top. But maybe it works much better on stage.
YWIW, you never cease to amaze with what an incredibly kind and considerate person you are.
I swear. I get sucked into The Sound Of Music everytime it's on.

YWiW, speaking from what I saw at City Center last summer, she was pretty over the top on stage, too. I'm thinking of seeing the B'way incarnation next Saturday night. I'll let you know what I think of that performance.
I love over the top. But that's just me, literally.
