My brandy new computer never worked in the first place, darlings! I just finally got it on campus.

Rain and more rain. We are having a deluge this weekend. Basements are flooding, I just have a little seepage due to standing water!

The Cubs have a importanat series with the Mets the week after next. The games will likely decide if the Cubs win the division.

Afternoon Adults!

Had a lovely time last night seeing some of the FGFs, and other BWW friends and family members!

I have not been to Canters in years (at first I thought I had not been there, but realized I had). I kept explaining to DG that on the westide, we went to Juniors regularly, as well as Dinahs.

That stinks, DGG. But this IS your first year of college, and there will likely be many boys (but not TOO many young lady!!), and many many ups and downs. This is not the end, but the beginning.

On a better note, I had a marvelous evening with a potential beau.

But no worries. It was a mutual breakup, and we were both needing it pretty badly. We both felt too guilty. Especially me, because I already met another guy. :-P

I would think that those of you in healthy and mature (Yes, YOU!) relationships are perfectly capable of it, and those that have been in healthy and mature relationships.
