I have my brother trying to find out what is going on. But my mom did it to me last week too, come to think about it. She's like "oh grandma is being moved to the rehab center" and i'm like "oh really, from where" and she's like "oh I guess i must have told your brother - she had a stroke." .......

My mother does the same thing - she withholds information all the time and then tries to play my sister and me off each other. My sister and I figured that game out a long time ago, but oddly enough my mother's never caught on to that fact.

Yep, my mom does it all the time too. In the middle of telling me the same story about the crazy neighbor's slut daughter for the thirtieth time she'll drop, "Your fathers stiches come out Tuesday and the the surgery went well." HUH?????

Wow, I don't know how you guys deal with that. My mom has waited until after relatives have come out of surgery, to tell me about it, but she's never just dropped it on me like that.
