Everything is just flooding around here. It may turn back to snow/ice later tonight, but we'll see.

I live on a hill, so it was like a river going down it this morning. I was trying to clean off my car, and I was standing in at least 2 - 3" of rushing water.

1 hour and twenty minutes to get from the Upper West Side to Chelsea this morning on the subway. Had to wait forever for a train, and then it just crawled all the way down. 5 kids in the classroom when I got there. I gave them all extra credit just for showing up. Interesting factoid: NONE of the dorm students were there. They live across the ******* street.

I really need to get tickets for The 39 Steps, and some others too.

The woman with the medical emergency here yesterday wound up having had a heart attack. They gave her an EKG and was in surgery by 10:30 a.m. She had two stents put in.
