Anyone know a person with pull at United Airlines?
My cousin has to have emergency surgery, and her husband is stationed in Japan - to get home in time it will cost $1600 (which they don't have). The military gave him emergency leave, but transport is up to him.
Apparently, that is a good price for a ticket, but it is still going to really hurt them (or realistically, my mom and me) financially...

I assume he has though he was on a ship, so I am not sure how it works. He is now in Singapore, and set for a flight tomorrow morning. You would think they would have some exception or deal for active service in emergencies.
