Topped off with just getting stood up for tomorrow.

I love fireworks more than presents on Christmas morning. I was really looking forward to my plans.

Rough day, Addy. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to check out the fireworks tomorrow. I don't have friends with lovely rooftops, so it's probably not happening.

Oh, Addy, I'm sorry! If it makes you feel any better (it won't) I have no plans for tomorrow at all. It will be 93 degrees here during the day and bad thunderstorms between 5:00pm and 10:0pm. Mother Nature will be providing our fireworks this year it seems.

We can see three different 'shows' from our house, so we won't be going anywhere. I'll just be here at home trying to keep our lovely fur-girl from having a heart attack.

Awww.. my dog used to get upset at fireworks. We lived near the park where they were given, in my hometown. It used to really upset her. Understandably...

I'm thinking I may head to CT a day early now. There's no place like home.

My sister is staying with me. Oy. I would prefer if she just realized she is not that easy, rather than thinking she is when she is not!

Tonight's plans fell through, so here I am, day before a holiday, working hard and no plans in the evening.

Yes, I really feel for those with canine friends. They do go bonkers.

We'll probably head down to the musuems and Folklife Festival early in the before the heat set in. Of course, that could be @ 10:30am. A new fridge and dishwasher are arriving on Saturday morning, so cleaning out the old freezer and fridge will be a good project tomorrow. Yeah, I know...you're all jealous of my exciting life.
