Oooh. Pearls!
Shira's Chef, I was drooling over a new stove the other day in Williams-Sonoma.
I hate to drink and run, but I have to head out for a bit.
Wishing everyone a fabulous afternoon! Don't work too hard!

I kid you not - when I threw the TinMan's retirement party here at home, our very close friends gave me a beautiful string of pearls to wear - and I did. Proudly!
Speaking of pearls, where's Robbie been? I think he's in Cape May - but don't they have internet cafes there?!?
A washer/dryer in the apartment would make me very happy. Well, happy.
A newer washer/dryer in the house I live in would make me very happy. One in my apt. would make me ecstatic.

I feel guilty about getting the new refrigerator since the old one works fine (at 23 years). But the new ones are so much more energy efficient. At laest that's hubby's rationale - he bought it.
Moony - mine still produces ice and has to be de-iced every few months. Talk about old.

I have the scrips, and haven't had a chance to read it yet. I fear its outdated anyway. None of the Broadway changes will be in it. Glad you liked it!
La la la... my boss is so bored right now. As am I.
And random, I had the BEST doughnut peach earlier. Mmm peaches...
I just made a KICKASS Salad over here.
Lettuce, Turkey, Salami, Mozzarella, Italian Seasoning, Olives, Artichoke, Tomatoes, Shallot, dressed with a bit of oil and balsamic.
Since when do we have turkey and salami? And when do you eat turkey? But NICE! Good job using the shallot in the fridge. :) Sounds divine.
My salad with sauted shrimp with soyaki, sugar snap peas, almonds and lettuce was yummy for lunch, even deflated.
Since I went to the market, duh!
I was more impressed that I chopped everything up without chopping myself up in the process.
Yeah, I'm impressed too.
And ah, Shira went to the market.
Must resist the urge to spend $3 on two peaches. Seriously, the two peaches earlier were $2.90...I love Foragers, but it's expensive.
I get to go home soon, and I am taking Monday off... Wheeeee!
FUN, YWIW! I wish I could be at the house this year.
I swear every person that's come into the store today has talked about their plans for the weekend. And the owner got invited to a rooftop party by a very good looking (IMO) guy from the neighborhood.
And you did not get a tag-a-long invite - clearly Shira has much to still teach you!
