True MP! We had Piper tonight - a casual bubbly.

My 77 year old mother can answer her cell phone anywhere and we get great e-mails from her on a regular basis.

Well, I am old enough to remember transistor radios and black and white TV's and party lines. I prefer today's technology. But the biggest downfall is immediate imformation which is not always good...remember the old saying "what you don't know can't hurt you".

I like the Piper "Very Dry." The brut is too tart for me. Of course, in a pinch, I'll take tart. (I can't wait to see Brd's response to that one.)

Baddy, I remember all of those things, too!

There are benefits and drawbacks to technology. I try to keep up the practice of traditional letter writing and sending real cards whenver I can... it's just so lovely to get a real piece of mail from time to time. And, I love to sit down and actually write to someone!

I mailed 17 thank you cards from C14 to our friends and family for graduation. I read every one of them and they were adorable.

No one can read my hand writing, but I have special 5X7 paper that I use for personal letters.

I am terrible at writing letters and not much better with writing e-mails. Would rather just talk on the phone. I do appreciate someone else's written expressions.
