Posted: 7/4/08 at 7:21amMorning Mr.2.
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Posted: 7/4/08 at 8:48amHappy 4th, babies. There are some interesting sights at the Philly airport. A woman just walked by in an Obama tank top, denim capris, black ridiculously high heeled sandals that looked like they were killing her, a brown Van Zeeland bag and her hair was rocking some sponge rollers. It was beautifully tragic.

So, there sat the TinMan and I last evening - me with my serious family issues, and both of us pretty much on a death-watch with his mother - and what do we decide to watch?
BAMBI.
I'm relatively certain that if you look up 'masochist' in the dictionary right now, they've replaced the text definition with our picture.

*MWAH* Linnie
You should have seen the two of us sitting there sobbing - and that was just listening to the opening music!
Oh, but I DO love it so. Thumper and Flower are two of my favorite Disney characters ever.

Why did I just hear Man in Chair say "Oh, but I DO love it so"?
It was my favourite movie (alongside the jungle book) when I was a toddler, too. Though I always used to run out during the sad bit, and conduct a random aimless conversation with someone in the other room. When I heard the music change and become happy again, I would drop my conversation mid sentence and run back in.

I'm choosing to think we consciously strove for a cathartic release.
Yeah, that's what I'm going with.
And now I'm off to read the Declaration at a public forum in Orange County.
If you haven't heard from me by tomorrow, break out the bail fund.

DG - The bail fund is being saved for SOMMS in Singapore, but hey, emergencies are emergencies.
I won't knock Bambi, I love Disney. But it just doesn't move me. I guess I am THAT cold-hearted!

Well, it's almost 5 and this is my last day in this job (
), so I shall no longer be gracing your company much. I'm away for the next week anyway, then it's back to the land of no internet for the rest of the summer!

I'm going to a Musical Workshop for a week, that's all.
I have no internet in my house, as we live in a black spot. It was a long running saga last year, Shira.
