I never had lunch... I guess the berries will be saved for dessert tonight.
And why did you not have lunch, Ms. Addy?
Boobs, not in that dress, you don't!!
Hi Adults! I hope that everyone is having a great day!
Ummm... Cookie, I just don't have a good answer. I simply never got to it.
Hiya, Jungle!
Well, you could have eaten a half pound of Oreos like I did...
I actually don't think I could do that. Even if I wanted to...
That's cuz you're smart!
I love oreos, I'm hungry and I have to go grocery shopping on my way home, so that isn't a good combination...
Hope everyone is having a good day!!
Hi, Pip!
Stay away from the snack aisle! Shopping when you're hungry is never a good idea.
How are things?
Pipster!
Steer clear of the junk food aisle!
Things are well here, thanks. I'm usually pretty good about staying away from snackies...but we are talking about oreos here... We try not to have things like that in the house so I'll have to eat them in the car...
Buy a little snack-pack, then!
Glad things are good. Give Glitzy a big hug from me, please!
Or buy three snack packs!
Add a hug to glitzy from me, to the one you're giving from Addy! And save a hug for yourself!
*hugs Addy too!*
I'll gladly give out hugs if I can ever get out of here tonight!!
Uh-oh... Tell the boss you have someone special you have to hurry home to!
*Cookie hug*
*Pip hug*
And you have to eat! You're hungry!
*hugs all around!*
Thanks for the hugs...Maybe I should run down the hall and hug the guy in accounting who owes me some numbers for the report I need to send off tonight! He is kind of cute, come to think of it...
If that's what it takes to get the numbers! Grab a snack along the way!
Hey all - just got back from SF - my meeting went really well.
But more importantly, saw ACL, and loved it. I may not be the best critic, but I was giddy from start to finish.
I would have seen again that night if possible.
The crowd was a zoo - the cancellation line was 50-75 deep and apparently the run is sold out for the remainder.
It was possibly too faithful to the original - but I loved every single minute.
The character playing Paul was utterly amazing - and his monologue . . . beautiful.
Just saying hey and hi!
Oooooh! I can't WAIT!
I'm giddy now. Imagine what I'll be like in September!
Lucky you!!
They are recording the Cast Recordind today, and the programs are not going to be made until NY - but I bought a T-shirt and a cap. I am such a geek.
The only odd thing was that the audience did not realize that there was not curtain call - the end of the show was the Chorus Line - so the audience did not realize it was the end until it was over. I am sure they would have given it a standing ovation but for that!
That's interesting... I don't remember that happening during the original run!
I'll get you a program when it opens here!
I have to put that CD on. Again.

Sorry to break the flow. I've been watching this thread for a while, and still don't get what it's about, is it just general discussion or what?
oh, my...
It STARTED as a shared collection of memories of growing up during a certain period of time.
And then it became one of the first 'conversation' threads...
And now, it's 'home' for many of us. A safe port in a storm, and a place where we know we'll be greeted by a friendly face and a hug.
The first seven parts are linked in the first post...
