I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of one of the head honchos around here. He had this 4 shelf glass case with pics and awards, etc. between his and another guys offices. He wasn't here yesterday, so the other guy took out the guest chairs from the absent guy's office and moved the glass case into it, cause "I don't want to look at Steve's ego trip to himself. Let him look at it." He moved the guest chairs to where the glass case had been and made a little sitting area. I can't wait to see what Steve does when he gets in.

Steve is not a happy camper. Came in, opened his door and said, "what's this?". Went in and closed his door. He starts e-mailing the associate kinda yelling at her. Also e-mailing her to move their offices. Marc, the guy who moved it in there went to go in Steve's office, but it was locked and Steve yelled he was busy. Marc gets the key from Steve's assistant, and opens the door. Steve just keeps saying he's busy. Marc said he was here to move furniture. Steve told him to leave it and get out. The associate was kinda yelling at Marc, saying she knew she'd get blamed.

Oh my goodness. They called building maintenance to come up and move it back. The associate is stomping back and forth between her office and his.

It's a bit tense around here right now. I'm laying low and staying out of the crossfire.
