Back from Sweeney. Great, great show. So glad I got a chance to see it before it closes. Ron Silver was sitting in my row, 4 people over.

The sun even came out for a little bit, so I didn't have to deal with any nastiness in that respect. Got in a bit early, found a nice little area on Broadway and 50th and people watched.

Don't you hate it when you get a movie thinking it's going to be one thing, and it turns out to be totally something else? I thought I was getting this quirky romantic comedy:

The Man I Love L'homme que j'aime
This movie posits the following hypothesis: What gay man hasn't sat beside a pool and dreamed of declaring his love to a beautiful straight boy whose Speedo fits just right?

Right? Well, not so much. VERY good movie, just not the light hearted movie I was expecting.
