I've slept through the phone ringing... when it was right next to my bed.
*sigh*
I wake up naturally at 8:30 am. Regardless of when I go to sleep. Why can't I start work at 9:30?
Moony..not sure he wants to hear my voice the 1st thing in the morning.
I'm sure there are some people around here though who would do it for a nominal fee...kind of like an escort? Just a phone escort service.
Your voice would lull me to sleep even deeper, boobsie.
Hi to whoever's around. Hope you're all having a decent day!

Hey Girlie! What did you score at Bed Bath and Beyond the other day? I have been thinking about that place ever since you mentioned it - AND I got a coupon yesterday as well! I may have to make a trek in this weekend.
*runs in..waves to Girly..runs out*
Hey kids. The mojito thread is dead, so I thought I'd wander over.
I'm heading to an amazing TARGET this weekend to gett all my new apartment stuff.
NOW, waiting for the movers (who called to reschedule AGAIN for 5 hours later than originally planned), and trying to get internet in my new apartment!

best of luck with moving,cAn be stressful sometimes
Cheeze, nothing really "jumped" out at me. I couldn't make up my mind about bedding, so I walked away. I did buy quite a few Yankee Candle items, though.
Boobs is so fly by night these days.
Have fun moving, Shira!

Candles are good! Still, it's fun just to wander around in there. This is my year of getting new furniture - so it's been on my mind a lot lately.
Moving is hell. I swore I'd never do it again, but now, I want a one-story, with a fenced backyard, and a pool, and a rich husband to pay the mortgage. Or wife, whatever, I'm flexible on that point.
The people next door just lit their charcoal grill. I love that smell!!

I miss grilling! The George Foreman has to do, for now.

Okay - I read that as hands DD a wedgie - I guess I need a pick me up.
Thanks! Especially now that I actually drink tea!
My day not very busy... renewed my car tabs and got my bus pass.
Hello all,
Not much going on tonight with the adults. I hope everyone is out and about having some fun. I had to go to work today for awhile and then my husband and I went to dinner at Old Country Buffet..his absolute favorite place. We are the skinniest people in that place!lol It is a great place for obese people. This evening I have been trying to check out the NYMF shows and see if I can hopefully catch a couple when I come to NY in Sept.
Hopefully they won't all be sold out when I go to buy a couple tomorrow. Happy Labor Day weekend adults

Addict, do you have the gorgeous weather that we have in Chicago?
Yes, it has been gorgeous the last few days. However, the tropical storm may ruin the Labor Day weekend weather I hear. Good thing I do not have any special outside plans.

We are going to the Cubs this weekend, but otherwise a low key weekend. We hosted many Labor Days in the past, but with the start of school and all of the kid's business it is not in the cards! We are going to a party on Sunday.
We actually have to go to a funeral on Saturday in Cheboygan Mich which is where I met my husband. Sort of appropriate since our 40th anniversary is on Sunday. His uncle died so we are driving up and back in one day. Not so much fun but it will be good to see some relatives!

That is too bad! My friend lost his brother to suicide this week. He was also my client and I spent a lot of time with him, he was a troubled soul! God bless him!
Suicide is always sad. It seems like such a waste. My husbands uncle was older so it does not seem so sad if you've lived a long life. I work at a high school and almost every year a student decides it's too hard to go on living. Usually it's over relationships. It is just so hard to understand being so unhappy that you think you cannot go on living.
