Haha. I was waiting for you to say you were allergic to peanut butter. But, you're right, I'm at least Jiff. Cause you know, choosy moms choose Jiff.
"You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell (ring my bell, ring-a-ling-a-ling)"
Chunky or smooth?
You gotta ring them bells,
you gotta ring them bells,
You gotta make 'em sing and really ring them bells
It's such a happy thing
to hear 'em ting-a-ling,
You gotta ring - them - bells
Oh, chunky all the way!
But, I believe they went PC and now refer to it as crunchy.

*sigh* I'm having a flashback. I grew up in Virginia, which has lots of peanut farms - so we always had fresh-ground peanut butter in the house. And there's NOTHING like freshly ground peanut butter!
Mmmm... fresh peanut butter!
I think I might have to have a peanut butter & jelly sandwich for lunch!
Crunchy. Got it.
I also love celery sticks and peanut butter. I used to snack on them in college all the time.

My delicacy is a lightly toasted peanut butter and honey sandwich - with a little real butter on the honey side. Give me that and a big glass of chocolate milk and I'm ALL set to go!
Oh, I'm so trying that!

My kids love peanut butter. We had peanut butter on bananas as children.
Yeah, that sounds really good and perfect for breakfast too!
Or...just a big ol' spoonful of it.

I think I need to investigate this Rose's Creamery place!
I'm heading up to a winery in the Hudson Valley on Saturday for a little overnight get-away. In addition to the great regional wines, there are some wonderful country markets with homemade goodies.
I plan to stock up on jars of gourmet goodness!
DG..what does it say? ???.com I have to try some of that !!!!
I like putting peanut butter on a spoon and then squeezing grape jelly on top of it..I usually do that in the middle of the night when I wake up out of a sound sleep and need something to satisfy my tummy.
Boobs, it looks like @juno.com
small threadjack: I'm listening to a bunch of old albums this morning. Right now I've got Chicago on. I always loved this song.
Hard Habit To Break
I guess I thought you'd be here forever
Another illusion I chose to create
You don't know what ya got until it's gone
And I found out just a little too late
I was acting as if you were lucky to have
Doin' you a favor I hardly knew you were there
But then you were gone and it all was wrong
Had no idea how much I cared
Chorus:
Now being without you
Takes a lot of getting used to
Should learn to live with it
But I don't want to
Being without you
Is all a big mistake
Instead of getting easier
It's the hardest thing to take
I'm addicted to ya babe
You're a hard habit to break
You found someone else you had every reason
You know I can't blame you for runnin' to him
Two people together but living alone
I was spreading my love too thin
After all of these years
I'm still tryin' to shake it
Doin' much better they say that it just takes time
Deep in the night it's an endless flight
I can't get ya out of my mind
okay, back to peanut butter and midnight snacks!

I was just in the South and failed to pick up some boiled peanuts!
Addy, you just brought me back to college with that song!!
Memory lane time, Dottie!
LOVE your avatar!
brd, I hear they have really good hams in the south, too. Smithfields, I think...
Thank you! I like my new avatar, too. Dottie was due for a change, and I think, Renoir's "Two Sisters" is most appropriate.
Renoir is one of my favorites.
Especially his paintings of sisters, mothers/daughters... I love buying Renoir notecards.
It's funny, because I had no idea that they were sisters. I always thought the painting was of a mother and her daughter. But who am I to argue with Renoir!
Good morning everyone. I'm just stopping by to say hi and wish you all a happy day.
It would appear that way... but, no arguing with the Master!
Good morning, Mamie. Morning, Boobs.
Addy, I'm so overdue for a trip to Paris.
Where's Cookie this morning?

This Renoir, which is at the Getty, is one of my most favorite paintings ever! In natural light, her dress just GLOWS - and the gesture of gentlemanly kindness warms my heart completely.
Hi, Dottie
