Oh - I'm still sick and still feeling sorry for myself and about 2 1/2 hours ago my modem went on the blink. I spent 2 hours on the phone with a tech who finally gave up and told me that I now have to wait for another tech to come out here and fix it. I dug out an old AOL disk and loaded it up. I'm using it's 'free 3 month trial period' along with my PC's built in dial up modem. It's slow as mud and extremely frustrating, but at least it lets me get on line. Now if I can just find my email....

Too true! It took almost 5 minutes for my mail to download! I hope they get this guy out here quickly. If he just has a new modem tucked under his arm, I'll be a happy camper. It's just so d... frustrating! (I just missed 2 weeks from work and I'll bet you my next paycheck that the only time he can come out is during a work day!)

Actually that's why I always keep at least one of these freeby disks around. You never know when you're going to have to go back to the basics.

Good morning peeps !!! I am out of prison for the weekend..YAY !!! Can you believe they had me install some new work programs on my home computer ...this way if I'm ever home sick I can still work they said...jeez. I'm praying that my sentence will soon be up. Keep sending letters to the parole board, but no responses yet..I will NOT give up !!!

We are busy, BUSY! We're in the midst of the Disney ASCAP workshop, while also continuing to attend many other events. The TinMan is in the midst of a pretty involved 'redo' of our dining room, while I'm attempting to further set-up our home office. I'm a little disgruntled this morning because this is the ONE day I had to get some work done outside, and the rain they've been predicting for days has decided to arrive NOW.

I'm taking it as a sign that we should curl up and watch movies!
