'morning! The weekend just flew by.

Adam was wonderful Friday night. He sounded sooooo good. Looked pretty good, too!

Went to a casual dinner at my friend's house on Saturday. That was a nice time.

Yesterday I putzed around for a bit, then went to Boobs' house, cause I screwed up taping my two soaps on Wednesday and he Tivo'd them for me that night. Even though I had already seen Thursday and Friday's eps, I had to see what went on the day I missed. I think he might be getting a little bit more hooked on General Hospital.

No one. Loud roommate who stayed up being loud until 12:30, and then even after that it took me hours to get to sleep.

I went to bed at 11:15! And I have a VERY long day today. Work, dance rehearsal, ballet class, then music rehearsal. I won't be done until 10:00p. Tomorrow is when it will hit me. I am not looking forward to it.

And Boobs - 4 more days for me too, hello! *sniff*

Morning.

I'm someone who has had a pretty love/hate relationship with television (I didn't even own one for about fifteen years,) but in the last week I've encountered two shows that I could actually enjoy - Boston Legal and Brothers and Sisters. I hope this trend doesn't continue. I don't mind enjoying what TV has to offer, but I'm VERY leery of becoming a typical American mindless drone being manipulated by the consumer gods in the box.

Girly - I've had such a bad history of being drawn to shows that get cancelled quickly (Jack and Bobby, The Education of Max Bickford) that I just don't want to get sucked into something before it seems to be hanging around a little.

Now, I usually just watch stuff on DVD.

Tink - a quality shared by most I'm drawn to is writing that rises at least a little above the lowest common denominator (usually with a liberal bent, shock surprise,) and J&B definitely had that. I loved the concept, and enjoyed the focus on social matters - which they, of course, abandoned when the ratings didn't just take off.
