me either
Aww, I hope you feel better. I'm just coming off of some weird sore throat sinus type deal. If haven't been able to sing anything in weeks. So I'm annoying my family and making up for lost time. Other than that I'm fine. I'm going to pack a little bit more then I'm going to watch some Grey's reruns with a gentleman caller.
Gentleman caller? *giggles*
I hope everyone feels better! I'm procrastinating packing. Shocking.
Did I mention I have third row tickets to the first performance of CURTAINS? I will get the vapors when Debra comes to our side of the stage!!
I must've missed it... moving again, Rath?
Yes. *sigh*
Is this to a more permanent location? Closer than Yonkers?
Yes, more permanent. I've been in the city since last fall, but not in a permanent situation - at least, it couldn't be permanent for me. Too small, tiny closet, a roommate who's constantly around...the new place is a better situation and cheaper even!
Good for you. See you have a reason to be in a good mood too today!
I am in a VERY good mood today, bud. So, who's your gentleman caller? Hmmm?
Soap, you and I have the same thing!
Harris, look in the lake...them's your people.
DD, what time are you going out tonight?
Rath, put on a cast recording and pack...that's what I did with Xmas undecorating and it took no time at all. Something about following the story in my head and distracting me from the tediousness of it all. Plus, you can sing along!!!
oh rath you did'nt hear, well um they replaced ms. monk with harvey firestein
I'm going to start packing when General Hospital comes on SoapNet at 10, Penny. That's my VOW!!! Anyway, I'm already singing along with iTunes right now. See how well it's working?
harris, NOT. FUNNY.
the roo and the hippo enjoyed it
Harris, no snowball? Didn't you notice I was here?
Yeah well they liked LESTAT.
Getting ready, Ms. P. Going to dinner, and if we can we're going to see Pan's Labyrinth.
Sounds good, Rath. I hope my next move is a 'big' one.
Rath, I'm keeping this one under wraps. I don't want to jinx it. , let's just say I have a permanent smile on my face. (before anyone says anything this is 99.9% platonic.)
Then what the hell are you so damn happy about??
I'm supposed to have a date with my husband tomorrow.
I'm still thinking it over.
I don't know, I just am. Which is a good thing, any time a teenager can hang out with another teenager and enjoy their company withOUT "gettin' busy" it's a good thing. And you as one of my top BWW role-models should be encouraging!
It's cool that Ms P and CBC go out on dates.
Harris -
Did I ever tell you about the day I found the new born calf? My boyfriend and I had spent a weekend up in the mountains at his cabin and we were coming down on Sunday in order to go home. There were only trails (no paved roads) for part of the way and we came to this narrow part of the trail and there was this cow standing in the middle of the path. We figured she'd move once we got a little closer but she didn't - she just stood there and stared at us. Then we noticed that she was messed up in her rear quarters - with blood, etc. all over. We realized that she'd just given birth and was probably standing there to keep us from running over her baby! We got out of the truck and walked over to her and sure enough, there was her new born calf - still curled up and out of sight in the tall grass. If she hadn't blocked our way we would certainly have run over the baby. We stayed there until she was able to get the baby cleaned up and then got him up on his feet. He was a little wobbly but was able to follow his mother over to the next field.
Earlier that weekend we had been to a farm auction. A very old gentleman named Orry (that was his first name) had passed away, leaving no family. They were auctioning off his property and we went to see if there was anything worth getting. When we saw that baby calf on Sunday we both started calling him baby Orry. I've had a little plush animal calf (with magnets in its feet) on my fridge ever since then. Yep - his name is Orry!
I really should get going now, I'll talk to you guys in the morning. Later.
Yeah, as long as doesn't totally piss me off between tonight and tomorrow!
Actually, he really needs to get away from his sadness, you know? So a movie and dinner will be more than just a nice date...it'll be therapeutic for him, too.
Very cool. What are you planning to see?
A while back I went on a first date to see "The Constant Gardner." Not a good first date movie.
