DD- do you prefer to see a show be choreographing? I have a friend who refuses to look at any other productions before she takes on a new show - she wants to see it with fresh eyes and no preconceptions. My other choreographer friend sees as many productions as possible for inspiration. Different strokes.....

Moony and Shamey - I do both, depending on my mood, I guess, and what that director wants. For "Fantasticks" I am not seeing anything and just going with my gut and the direction the director wants - which is very clear. But if I'm working with a director that's not giving me a clear direction, then yes, I'll watch other productions and stuff for inspiration.

I don't know if it is just because I am cranky due to not enough sleep/shoveling, or if they are really this annoying, but 80% of the people at my job are REALLY pissing me off today. Every time I calm down from one drama, another one starts directly up!!! Is it Thursday 4:45 pm yet?

I am actually in a pretty good mood myself, even though I got very little sleep. Drank 1/2 bottle of wine during the Oscars, then went to karaoke and drank like 4 beers. Oy!
