It was amazing! Now I am working hard to get rid of the "buffet" spread from my tummy. Totally worth it though. Hope all is well with you - trying to get caught up reading back - damn, a lot goes on here - more than I actually imagine.
Good afternoon adults!
I hope all is well!
Yay for fun times! I hope you'll be sharing some pictures?

I think I might be able to find a couple of shots to share...
One of the coolest things was the day before we sailed (Superbowl Sunday no less) I went down to the Golden Gate Bridge to watch the ship sail into the bay - and it was like being at a rock concert! Thousands of people all along the waterfront! I have never seen anything like it in my life. It was the same way when we sailed into Honolulu and Sydney - peoples fascination just blew me away.
You probably felt like a STAR when you were on it sailing into the other ports with everyone watching!
I look forward to seeing some pics and hearing whatever little tidbits you'd like to share.

Cheeze - that happened when she was down here in Long Beach, too. They couldn't bring her all the way into the regular harbor - she's too big! - so they had all these streets closed in San Pedro (cause you could see her best from the waterfront there,) and it was a mob scene all day long!
Hello, all.
It's March here. I don't think February will be missed.

Has it started to cool off at all, Hep?
A little, DG. Autumn is usually a very pleasant time of year in this neck of the woods.

DG - Pago Pago was kind of like that - we had to anchor in the harbor and shuttle by boat to the docks.
A friend just sent this to me: Too funny!
A nice, calm, respectable woman went into a pharmacy, looked the pharmacist straight in the eye, and said, "I would like to buy some cyanide."
The Pharmacist answered "Why in the world do you need cyanide?
The Woman stated "I need it to poison my husband."
The pharmacist's eyes got big. "Lord have mercy!" he exclaimed. " I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband! That's against the law! My license! They'll throw both of us in jail! No! You CANNOT have any cyanide!"
The woman reached into her purse and pulled out a photo of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.
The pharmacist looked at the picture. "Well, now," he said, "that's different. You didn't tell me you had a prescription."

Hep - anywhere I've ever been, April and October seem to be perfect.
April and October were my favorite months in DC.
Not so much in Seattle. September is the month here.

DD - I remember that about Seattle. I showed up there in September, and thought, "WOW, this place is amazing!" And then the sun disappeared - for five months.
March is usually warm and settled. The evenings draw out to soft, pleasant dusk.

I love the way you put that, Hep.
