Thanks, DG - I really am. I'm feeling so weel that I'm going to make a big dent in that cyber buffet!
Weelly?

There are drugs for everything, Moony! So I've heard.
Girly, I thought of you last night! Did you know Euan Morton is in the latest Roundabout show "Howard Katz"?! He looked GREAT!
And, Boobs, I also thought about you because it must be the week for freaky audiences!
We were in a FREAK SHOW of an audience! It was SO distracting that I couldn't focus on what was happening on the stage. Ushers who wouldn't shut up, and complained that their job was hard (we were unfortunately seated toward the back, so the distractions of latecomers was constant). We had latecomers who then had to talk to eachother about being late. We had people with noisy candy bar wrappers and water bottles which dropped to the floor and rolled around making lots of noise. We had an old lady who kept zipping and unzipping her purse and rummaging for things and opening and snapping closed cosmetic cases. We had people who fell asleep and snored. We had two behind us, two next to us and one in front of us. And, we had an absolutely disgusting woman who looked like she hadn't taken a bath or washed her hair in a month sit in front of us. She was covered in cheap perfume (which I am very sensitive and allergic to, so I had to spend the night covering my nose and mouth so I could breathe), and... she kept reaching back and scratching at her head and picking things out of her hair and ears with hideously long and dirty fingernails. She was sitting right in front of me. I kept trying to move to get my legs out of the way lest any of her germs get anywhere near me. It was the grossest experience I've ever had in a theatre. Oh, and about 15 minutes into the play she said, in a loud voice, to her husband: "Is THAT Alfred Molina?". Followed by: "Tonight is American Idol!!". Oy. Fortunately she fell asleep and stopped scratching and picking. Although when her head snapped back her hair came dangerously close to my leg. I got home and took a hot scrubby shower. I had to get THAT off of me.
Anyway, hope everyone had a nice evening.
And wishing everyone a nice day!
I know Addy. I keep going back and forth as to whether or not to go. It doesn't sound all that interesting to me. How was Euan other than looking his usual cute, fab self?
That dirty woman had a husband??
I was thinking of getting a ticket to something for Friday night, but after all these horror stories, maybe I'll just stay home.

Good grief - what is happening to NYC audiences?
*rethinks itinerary for spring trip to the Big Apple*
He looks really cute... But, I don't know that I can really say that the play is worth a special trip.
Though, we were very distracted by the audience freaks around us, so it was hard to stay absorbed in it.
That dirty woman had a not-so-appealing looking husband. There's somebody for everyone!
I'm heading down to Florida in the morning. Can't WAIT!
I'm sorry, Addy, but that is too funny. You have terrible luck with theater audiences lately.
Now, I'm wondering how we didn't get attacked at TCP or Les Miz.
We didn't have time to get attacked at Les Miz!
And... it was a nice church-going crowd at TCP.
We were trying not to burst out laughing all night. It was hilariously horrifying. The one loud snore just to the left of me, during a silent and serious part of the show was the downbeat of a symphony of snores to follow...
Reviews for Howard Katz aren't so great. It still just slays me to see my college roommates name in lights.
I thought of that Rath, but I don't like to go too early in previews. I'll see. Still thinking about it.

I saw the first preview last night, and it's already fantastic - remember, it was in LA for a few months, so it's not like it's raw.
Good thoughts and prayers for your friend DD.
