Hello, ladies of BWW!
I was at an all day professional workshop yesterday, then went down town to watch my girls WIN the city title in basketball. Our first time at the Washington championships since 1981 and our first win ever. Needless to say, this place is wild today. The trophy is sitting on a table outside my office and everyone is stopping by to touch it.
That's so crazy to me, because where I'm from, there was one high school in the entire town! City Championships would have been a little...boring.

In DC the champion of the Catholic school league plays the champion team from the public schools. The school we plaued last night has won 8 times in the past. We were such underdogs. But CUTE underdogs. And VICTORIOUS underdogs.
There were three high schools in my town and about 20 in the county, but my school was horrible in all sports but swimming and golf.
I went to school in DC but my school was so small that half the class would have had to play just to form a team. We actually did have one for a couple of years. Our scores at the end of the game looked more like football scores!

Historically we have not been this strong in basketball, but tops in golf and crew. Dance Team usually takes top honors, too.
Howdy adults!! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekends (I know I'm a day late)!
Congrats to Moony and her school !!! Hip Hip Horray !!!

Boobs -great to see that you reached your goal so quickly! Keep raising it and we'll keep meeting it!
(and thanks for the oatmeal)
When I used to do the Walks, we actually had to go out and find people "manually" to sponsor us, and collect checks too - now you can just put up a link for people to click on.
