So, I'm walking to my friends' apt. tonight, and pass Second Stage, and Patricia Heaton is just standing out front with some other people. I went up to her and said I saw the show a couple of weeks ago and that she was incredible and she got very excited - so cute! And then she said with a big grin, "That's why I stand out here - so people will come over and admire me."

She's quite disarming.

Boobs - when I heard on the news that the market would be "partially closed" I wondered if Dow was taking off, but Jones was working. It really doesn't make sense to close one and not both.

Rath - no holiday pay yet?

Got a haircut last night. Way too short for my taste, but it's a new look.

Same thing happed to C22 (C23 tomorrow!). She was supposed to be switched from temp to permenent at the end of August, but first her agency person took off on vacation, then the HR person at her company took off.

Hmmm...maybe I should think about buying the kidlette a birthday gift sometime today.

And Boobs - I really did wear a bb cap to work today!
