How about a trip to Universal? I want to go on the Spiderman ride again..and again...and again...and again...and...

I was so upset by my friend's husband that I went out during my lunch hour and bought an adorable suede jacket that I can't really afford. Men!
(ok, it was really the only rationalization I could up with)
Works for me, Moony!! I wanna see pics!! Of the jacket, not the loser.
Screw the jacket...post the loser !!!

The jacket.
The man: mid 50's, fat and bald. And a psychological mess. Believe me, you don't want him.

Just a little aside - not all men are like that . . .
Boobsie... a friend of mine is a film-tech and was involved with the creation/building/set-up of the Spiderman ride.
That's lovely, Moonie. I can totally see you wearing that.

Hey DD.....I love that ride...so tell your friend !!!
Moony...I don't want the loser....just would like to see what the hell that idiot is up to. How did your friend come across this? Is she looking ?
Ooo Moony! I LOVE it!!!

She wasn't looking - another friend got suspicious by some lies he's been caught in and had an hunch. A quick check of Yahoo personals turned up his photo - using a fake name, of course - and a mostly fictional bio. I'm sure the wife has no clue.
Rath - I know!!!! And such a great color! Although, if we were walking down the street together we'd look like a Christmas display.
An ADORABLE Christmas display.
I think he's screaming to get caught. I mean, putting your picture out there? On yahoo? Please.
boobsie... he was telling me all about it a couple of weeks ago. I really want to go now.
DD..when I was there I got off of it and went back on again....I think we did it 3 or 4 times....it's so much damn fun !!!! My favorite in the park.
Moony..he really is low for doing that..not just to his wife, but someone who will answer that ad.
SO I went to see Evita last night. Actors were great, but the direction was quite uneven... the directors were really trying to stay away from the original staging, but I think they were trying SO hard to put their own signature on the show they lost some of the vision. Some of the numbers were great; Art of the Possible was my favorite number. Wonderful, creative staging. Dangerous Jade, a mess. WAY too busy. It's probably my favorite number overall in the show, but I did not like it last night.
At least they're taking chances.
Afterwards we went backstage and hung out with some of the cast. I got to meet a couple of people I've seen around town before but had never met.
Anyway... just wanted to share my evening.

Sounds like great fun - Dangerous Jade, notwithstanding.
I know what you're saying DD..it's nice to put a different twist on something that has been done, but sometimes you can lose the audience in it...very risky.
has anyone seen the Cast bio-pic thread...I just posted one that even had me laugh to myself.

Would this be the Universal Park in Universal City outside LA?
Road trip?
Happy Thursday, Adults!
Boobs - "Spiderman, The Ride" is my favorite attraction at Universal Florida, too.
Well DG..I was talking about the one in Orlando..but CA will work too.
Hi ya Jungle !!! do you realize we have so much in common?

Hmmmm - Florida.
Well, there could STILL be an LA road trip!
There can ALWAYS be an LA road trip. I do need that.
*jeez I can't type today*
Oh! Oh! Oh! LA road trip? Cool! Who wants to fly to the NW and take Hwy 1 (or is it 101) to LA?
DG - do they have the Spiderman ride in LA?
