Hi DG! I loved the touring presentation of "The Light in The Piazza". It is in good shape. I am writing a mini review for the main board.

Actually - I just bought my first Christmas (Holiday?) CD of the year. "Cool Yule" by Bette Midler is outstanding. The orchestrations are beautiful and I love her song selection. The song "Cool Yule" has a jazzy, big band sound to it and Bette does a nice duet of "Let it Snow" / "Winter Wonderland" with Mr. Christmas - Johnny Mathis. I know it is not even Halloween, yet, but I think this CD will be a real instant classic.

Jungle...my copy of Yule is on it's way as we type. Might even be there when I get home.

DG - No, Barry did not produce this CD, but it seems to be in the same style of the Rosemary and Peggy CDs. Robbie Buchanan is the producer.

I'm hoping the predictions are wrong and that we'll actually get some snow in the mountains this year. Last year the ski resorts opened the first weekend in November. *sigh*

DG - I saw Dolly sing 'Imagine' on her last tour through town. She included that song on her last CD of 60s folk tunes - "Those Were the Days" - if you want to have a recording of it.
