I have faith that you won't put yourself in jeapardy (although, it's not the most comforting thought to have you so close to a knife while unconscious.)

even if i did hide a knife under my pillow for protection, i would be too much of a wuss to use it. do you know how close to an intruder you have to get to use a knife? that's nuts.
