Hi DD! Is that excitement to see me, or shock at my tasteless jokes?

I'm always excited to see you... almost didn't recognize you in that spiffy outfit.
That was for the tasteless joke.
btw, have I told you that your quote has become a big part of my new philosophy.

Hi DD and Shamey! I hope that you all are having a great Friday. I'm just a little bit giddy after paying $1.99 at the pump for gas today - I can't remember when gas prices were less than $2.00 / gallon around here.

Wow! I got excited that it's down to $2.78 around here.

I think Harris is annoyed.

Hi Boobs! I hope that all is well with you today! Yes, I'll be checking out a little early today to head to happy hour before the Indigo Girls concert tonight. Atlanta is their hometown so the crowd should be pretty pumped. I love their new CD "Despite Our Differences".
Tomorrow, we will get an early start for a weekend in Savannah. It's about 4 hours away. I love visiting this lovely, historic town. Yes, on Sunday we will dine at Paula Deen's restaurant - "The Lady and Sons".

I'm alive. Had to go to the eye dr. this AM. For the past few weeks, I've been walking around with a ripped contact lens, which in turn scratched the hell out of my cornea, which explains why everything was so blurry. I just thought my prescription was outdated. I'm so perplexed by it all, though. Whenever I've had a ripped contact in the past, I knew it the second I put it in. They wanted me to leave my contacts out for the rest of the day, but I had to drive and had to come to work since I didn't plan on being out all day.
Because of the scratched cornea, they couldn't get an accurate reading of that eye. I have to put some drops in later when I take my contacts out for the night and go back to the dr. tomorrow morning.
I missed Cookie. And Addy. Again.

Absolutely, Boobs! In the meantime, the Indigo Girls will be playing at Radio City this month - you may be able to catch them there.
