Ok... starting to get the opening night jitters.
btw... anyone heard anything from RobbO?
grrrrr
*hugs wb*
Went back to the eye dr. this morning. He gave me a prescription for antibiotic/steroid drops and wants me back on Tuesday. He also mentioned changing the kind of contacts I wear. I just got a new batch from 800contacts the end of August, so I hope whatever brand he changes them to, they carry it, since they have an exchange policy if/when your prescription changes.
Harris, what were you growling at last night?

DD - how did opening go?
Hi all. I've just been catching up on all the posts from the last couple of days. All that Savannah talk has me wanting to go down there again. I may have to settle for re-reading the book.
I wonder who's fried chicken is better? Paula's or the Lady Chablis' Kick'n Chicken?
And DD - I second DG's question. How'd it go?

Mamie - Gladys Knight's Chicken & Waffles makes the best chicken - I just don't know if there's one in Savannah And if you get to Savannah, you should try and go in the spring when they're giving the home garden tours. Not only are the gardens breathtaking (naturally!) but most serve either tea or Julips to the guests (naturally!)
It sounds lovely! (Sadly I've had my last julep but I do love tea. Maybe I could get a red hat with a big feather and a purple shirt.....

Oh, the Red Hats! I help our theatre out taking tickets for Wednesday matinees (no one else is available) of MENOPAUSE, THE MUSICAL. Those women show up by the BUSLOAD - it's a scream. One group had fassioned all their hats out of red bras - complete with sequins and feathers! I just stand back and watch.
They're always coming into the Smithsonian museums as small crowds. I've never seen a group laugh so much or seem to have so much fun. I'm now at the age where I can wear a red hat so I might look into joining them. (If you're too young you have to wear a pink hat.)
sigh
Did I just hear a melancholy cow?
cow has had messed up weekend, did alot of thinking just very =( tonight
I'm sorry. Can sympathetic friends help?
Cows can wear red hats and purple shirts
not unless you can exlpain to me how missed something about a friend of mine that was right in sight and why do i feel bitter that i didnt see it
Maybe you were too close to see it? Sometimes you have to take a giant step backwards to really see the truth in some things.
still and i'm upset at how i feel bout it
I'm sorry.
Maybe things will look better in the morning?
I've got to get to sleep. It's been a partying weekend and I'm pooped. Good night all.

Harris - just a friendly word, here - you can only see what people allow you to see. I think, maybe, what you're really experiencing is a feeling of lack of trust. I'm sorry for your pain, though, as it has obviously affected you deeply.
