I'm in New York, DG, in a relatively calm state. I'll be in Florida on Thursday, and whatever state I'll be in then is anybody's guess. But J2 is going with me on this trip, so that should help. A lot.

So people are signing petitions not to close the Starbucks closest to my house. I feel like saying a) if you patronized the store they wouldn't be closing it, and b) there are three coffee shops within two blocks.

DD - TWO BLOCKS?!?!? What kind of stamina do you think people have? They can barely make it to the espresso cart in the MIDDLE of the first block, just to keep them going!

I enjoyed the walk from DD's place to the coffee shop. I would've enjoyed it more if I hadn't dumped my coffee all over myself on the first trip.

Posted: 7/28/08 at 1:47pmI never frequented the ones they're closing in NYC anyway, but yeah, it's amazing how they can literally be across the street from each other and be packed. There's one on 94th and B'way, within sight of one on 93rd and B'way, and both are always PACKED.
