I don't have hobbies....I have a completely healthy respect and admiration for beautiful men who can sing. Nothing sordid or naughty about it!

I put two clips up on Facebook. I thought only 2 was showing some restraint.

Tink, around these parts, I would venture to say that crawling into a liquor cabinet could be classified a hobby.

Sorry to keep on bringing the room down.
All of his enzyme counts are ridiculously elevated (like his kidney should be at 150 or something, it's over 9,000).
The vet vaccinated him for leptospirosis 6 weeks ago, which could account for that.
It could also cause the disease. The test for that should be back around noon. I'm furious. If that's what he has, we caught it early enough to prevent serious kidney/liver damage, but what if I caused this to happen by giving him a vaccine?
The drug manufacturer says it happens between 2 to 4 weeks and he got it 6 weeks ago, but that's not far enough outside the window to calm me down.

(Do you want to be called Singer or southernboy - I am confused)...
I know how you feel, but right now, just focus on your baby, and what can be done to make him better. If this was caused by the vet, and not disclosed as part of the pre-vaccination process, then you should settle it with them once he is better.
I will keep good thoughts for your baby - I should know more about mine later today.

YWIW, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, too.
I really, REALLY hope it's not lepto. Of course, that's probably very easily treatable for him right now, since I rushed him into the vet really early on in the symptoms. I can't imagine anyone who'd let their little dog sit there unable to stand up and use the bathroom, but I don't guess I get some people. It only took one time for me to schedule the appointment. I hope it was fast enough.
He could have even gotten this from eating a nickel! I don't know why he would, but he'll put anything in his mouth, so nothing is off the table yet.

Posted: 7/29/08 at 11:55amHello from vacation - no internet connection here - I am at a caffe just so I could transfer $ so I am checking in to say hello. Beautiful here but it has not been so restful as we are having pet health issues also. I have not read back but see others are having issues also. My daughter's chihuahua, Murray, is very sick and at the vet's right now. We had him at the lake with us two days ago and when we got back to the cottage he started acting sick. We thought it was heat stress but turns out he has some kind of infection. He is only 4 lbs and 8 months old. He is at the vets today for blood work and IV antibiotics. I sure hope he recovers..we all love the little guy! Anyway an okay time and will be home on Thursday.
