I've thought about doing that in NY in September and October, but then I'd have to figure out how to make a living during the other 10 months of the year.

I don't know, but sometimes he sleeps like that.
There is an earlier picture where he is sleeping next to Zorra and his front legs are extended.
He is just an odd little dude. Right now he is sleeping all curled up.

The records say not even six months. It is hard to believe, because he seems larger, but I spoke with the Vet on Saturday who rescued him and confirmed the age.
