Well, there is some Hebrew, and some reading, but it is basically the story of Passover read by the group.
They are smart, inquisitive kids, and it may be interesting to them to hear the story. But, there are intermissions, in that we take breaks, interact, and if my mom has her way, sing a bit.
I am going off to bed, I am not quite sure how you keep up!
New thread! Yay.
What a wonderful day. Met with DG and his brother, J2's meeting ended leaving him enough time for him to join us and we had a fun, laugh-filled lunch. Then we went to visit our friends in LaCanada, and had a great time with them, too.
J2's meeting went very well - he'll be back next month for another meeting.
Yay!
I think they'll LOVE it! The good thing about not having any ritual in your life is that when you do, it's absolutely fascinating. Actually, I guess theatre is their "ritual."
The fact that, at their age, they were entranced by SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE tells me they will really be engaged by something like a Passover Seder.
Good night. I am off to bed, too.
Thanks again for the invitation. I'm so looking forward to it!
Good night, all you adults!!!
Hey D2. Welcome to the new home.
Fiestaware!!!! (I really am going to bed, I swear!)
Glad you had a fun day, D2!!!
Xooo
I felt we should eat. Go to SLEEP, Miss P!
Thanks for the cheese, but let's not jump the gun, Shira.
I just felt like having brie.
By "new home," I thought Shira meant the "new adults' thread"!
That's what I meant, Miss P.
I just meant that it isn't our new home yet. J2 has some serious reservations now, including one potential deal breaker. He'll be back to continue the process and find out more, but nothing is set in stone.
Even at 2:30 AM, sharp as a tack am I.
Good to know, Deet. But I was referring to the BWW Adult Home.
Which reminds me, has anyone begun construction on the BWW Nursing Home?
Oh.
Never mind.
It's okay, all perspectives are welcome here, Deet. I can mean many things at once without even knowing!
Well, wherever you wind up, THIS will still be your "home," Deet!!!! This thread is portable!!!
Miss P....*taps foot*
Bedtime, young lady. You need you rest, but certainly not your beauty rest, as you are already gorgeous.
Thanks, Miss P! With my portable, hand picked, preferred family.
Oh, Tintin, nous t'adorons beaucoup, beaucoup, beaucoup!!!
Bonne Nuit, mes amis. A demain!
Dormez bien, Mademoiselle P!
*Twirls in*
YAY! A new thread!
*tosses glitter*
Hey y'all!
*goes back into hiding in the Tennessee hills*
Tennessee! Sounds like fun
Well, I had a tiny widdle asthma attack (thank you, summer humidity and allergies) at 3 in the morning (I was up anyway!), and the stupid epinephrine they put in those inhalers is keeping me awake. And you guys are sleeping like you should be.
Morning, yay new thread.
Good Morning all! 24? My aren't we all grown up! (darn!)
