I will have a Friday night off - while jS goes off to the bachelor party - when I'm in SoCal in Sept.
I'm just sayin'.
DG is right - HELLBOY is not on our radar screens as possible movie-going entertainment.
JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF BRENDAN... uhm, I mean ...CENTER OF THE EARTH, however, may be on the agenda for this afternoon or tomorrow.
Okay, we're off for another fun-filled day in LA.
'later!
*duly noted DD* BUT WRONG COAST! COME HERE TO NY!
Anyway...
D2 - I hear it's awful, but Brendan's pretty. Have fun today!
Have fun deet! I have little interest in that movie (Center of the Earth), especially since they show the kid answering his phone in the center of the Earth. I mean - really! I lose reception in parts of Seattle but the phone works in the middle of an underground sea?
Duly noted DD!
Off to run errands and buy cat toys.

"JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF BRENDAN"
Because I am Jewish-by-proxy now, I just plotzed.
Hmmmmm - I see another Abbey meeting in the not-too-distant future
I sat on the deck and tanned and read this morning, now once Chris gets moving we ca get to our running around things.
I think I am being taken to a shooting range tomorrow, this can only have hysterical outcomes.
The Abbey! *squeals*
Okay, DG - Plan of action. Meet at the Abbey. Go to your favorite bookstore. Then off to Canters! And maybe find a movie and my future husband.
I have the best bf - he's going with me for one game to watch the gay softball qualification games (for the Gay Softball World Series that takes place here in Seattle this year.)
He hates softball.
That's awesome. DD! Gay softball. Like there's any other kind.
"JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF BRENDAN" ? Hilarity. I have no interest in that or Hellboy, but people keep telling me I MUST see Wall-E.

Shira - sounds like a plan!
I was actually referring to a potential recreation of a YWIW/DD/DG meeting at the Abbey, which was the first time I met YWIW.
... as did I. The Abbey recreation sounds great.
Wheeee.
Explain the Abbey to moi, please. While you're talking, I'll have one of these and a cup of coffee, okay?
Sounds good, Miss P.

MissP - it's a very popular bar/restaurant place in West Hollywood.
More info please. B&Ws take a long time to eat, you know!

Hehe
Not much more to say about it, actually. It has a great courtyard area - in fact, a lot of it has a very indoor/outdoor feel. It's very large, and has gone from a primarily gay establishment to a more 'mixed' environment. I haven't really spent much time there (we're just not the club-going types,) but I've always had a good time there.
You always have a good time with the right people, DG.
I'm starting to do "research" about SoCal because I am planning to spend a lot more time there.
Nice ideas, Miss P!

Which, come Hell or high water, is GOING to include time with me this time! I simply can't handle - again - knowing you are here and NOT getting to see you
DG, that's what we like to hear!!!
Miss P, same goes for when you're in NY!
