A new car, a new place in Jersey, a place in the city, something in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach, unlimited theatre tickets and airline tickets/private jet. That's just to start. Luckily, I don't often get in these moods.

Didn't Passing Strange close already? Or is it this weekend?

Trust me, he does have his moments. But overall, Miss P is right on the money. And don't worry, DGG, you'll meet him one day.

Baddy, I would never, ever tell anyone not to see a show. But I was not a fan of PASSING STRANGE, if that means anything. And I really, really, really wanted to like it.

I just bought a book yesterday on houses in Provence.

There are incredible pictures of a sprawling ranch-style home, all in stone, nestled into a hill overlooking a typical 1300's French village toward the Mediterranian.

This house should be MINE!!!

Thanks for the advice D2. It hasn't been on my list of "want to sees" but Miss P and I are trying to decide on a show to see together and nothing is standing out.

D2, I know what you mean. When everyone waxes effusive about Caldwell B. Cladwell, I always quote Carole Lombard who said, "Believe me, he's no 'Clark Gable' at home!"

Re: Passing Strange. We have had ZERO interest in seeing this. (I have not liked any of the music I've heard.) But now that it's closing, we're wondering, "Should we see it just to decide for ourselves that we HATE it????"

Well DG, we will find a way to meet when Shira is in town.

Ends up I got my early - early Friday's off - it is next Friday that I have to leave by 12:30 for the move. I am not sure what movie I will see, because I do want to see Mama Mia this Friday. But, maybe we could figure something out.
