Stop whining, Shira. You know I'm not going to buy that excuse. Now go, take a shower, relax.
I don't wanna. *crosses arms, pouts*
Then don't. You're the one who's going to remain uncomfortable, not me. But you do have to apologize to DD. NOW!
I'm going to try to stop laughing long enough to type this...
"I'm sorry DD. I'm just sweaty and I get cranky when it's hot".
Now, can we get someone cute in my shower? No complaints would happen then!
Get a mirror.
Ew. I'd never shower again if I had to LOOK at myself!
Well, you asked for someone cute. You weren't specific, like, "someone cute who isn't me," or "someone cute, with an enormous shwanstucker."
You know, that kind of specificity.
Awwww. I love you D2.
But I want a man.
He'd do nicely.
He wants a man too, Shira.
That tends to be a problem for me, D2!
Not for long, though - you're quickly becoming a killer in the looks department, so you'll have the competitive edge.
And with that, I must bid you adieu - I'm off to meet the Cheese Wiz; we're going to buy some more provisions for Saturday.
You're being too nice to me - something must be going on!!
Have fun with Cheese Wiz. Cheddar, Gruyere, Brie, and Fontina, say hello.
I love you, deet.
Ok. Now I want cheese. Can you tell I'm watching what I eat? (read: not eating cheese or anything decadent)
I haven't stopped eating today. This is why I keep a healthy house. I eat half of it, but its still okay.
OK New Yorkers - I'm bringing my niece for her first touristy trip to NY. I had all kinds of plans but they all involved walking around outside. Neither she nor I are going to be able to handle this heat Saturday. Anybody got any suggestions?

Mamie - I'd pick The Met, the main library and the Guggenheim.
But I'm only another NYC tourist - I'm sure there are hidden treasures. But if it's her first time . . .

GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT?????????????????????
OK, I'll tell you.
I GOT A 5 ON MY AP ENGLISH LITERATURE EXAM!!!
In case you were wondering, that's about as high as it gets.

It is. I may have 'over museumed' her when I was working at the SI. I'm going to suggest ANYTHING that involves indoors and air conditioning. It just seems such a waste when there's so much to see in NY. (We'd planned a street fair, wandering around Chinatown, a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.
It's not really seeing New York, but I'm going to suggest one of those tour cruises. The only problem is that I imagine just about everybody else will be doing the same thing!
If she were just a little more of a theatre maniac I could suggest seeing another show. I still might be able to talk her into Spamalot or something.
So, I feel so out of the BWW loop. . . .Hi.
OK - I'm now going to try this for the third time....
SOAPY! Where you been hiding? (Are you still here?)
MAJOR congrats to you, DGG!
Congrats DGG!
*the cows in there georgetown shirts bring ice cream*
whats new
Hi Mr. H. When does your new job start? When are you actually going to be moving?
I thought the cows were still wearing those 'Virginia is for Lovers' t-shirts. Oh, well
Soapy!!!
Mamie, if you are not museumed out, may I add the Frick Collection to your list?
Shira, he would be a very nice shower buddy.
I here!
