For all the history I've lived so far, I just have never given up my idealism - and it's been kicked to the curb SO many times!

I keep thinking I'm immune, but the base foundation of my soul screams out for what is RIGHT, dammit!

I guess, in the long run, I'd rather feel available to the pain of unacceptance of this lunacy, than feel numbed to its inevitability.

Yes, Girly, I do - because:
1) I didn't want to drink while I was there for fear of what I might actually have said
2) I was so sick when we got home the thought of alcohol made me even sicker
