Shira, I was being extreme. Most of my colleagues are friends and we work out very difficult problems daily. There are a few that I LOATHE!!!!!
I have actually found that generally my passive approach works better than bravado!
Passivity is sometimes the best thing, brd.
I am beyond looking forward to bed this evening.
Dear Lord! Someone just posted a picture of me in the seventh grade ...
So I can go see "Memphis" tonight for $20 or go home and start the packing process. I wonder which will prevail ...
I bet you were adorable, just like you are now!
Oh, and I need chocolate.

Hi kids. Couple thoughts - I am surprised again how much it costs to replace toothbrushes for five.
C15 does not do well before tests. I am wondering if we need to find a study skills class. She is just a mess and I do not think that she will do well!

Talk with her Gyidance Counselor, Brd. She may have performance anxiety or there may be a hidden processing problem.

It might be a combo. She does well on the quizzes, and bombs the tests. I know that she spend more time. (It is history, just memorize it). We will work through it, this is the first test of the semester and there are months left!
It's probably a bit of anxiety, as she seems to know the material!
*waves to all*
I do terribly in tests, especially if I have to memorize. In school I did poorly in history and such. I did well in practical things such as math.

Science was always easy. In college I took a science class with Mrs. Brd and my famous writer friend, they got C's and I got an A! I had no interest in math.
I'm opposite from you, Brd. I truly cannot understand science at all, but I'm fascinated by it anyway and try to understand whatever I can. But in school, I would do all my homework and FAIL the tests.
Tests are bullsh!t.
Don't get me started. Don't even get me started.
Whoa, Miss P.
New topic. Um, who likes rice pudding?

I prefer bread pudding. I can make reasonable Yorkshire puddings, I do it so rarely that it is hard to master twice a year.
I have done a fair amount of research on testing (first in grad school and then over the past 5 years or so). They are not a fair measure of anyone's intelligence.
But I'm not "upset" about it, Gracie! In fact, I LIKE taking tests myself. I think they're fun.
I like Tapioca myself.
I do terrible on standardized tests - but I somehow found a way to pass the bar exam on the first time.
Test taking is a skill.
I always did much better on essays than multiple choice.
YOU is so right! Standardized tests basically show how well a person takes tests!
(Hi, YOU. See YOU soon!)
I have never seen "Life on Mars" and tonight I happen to be watching and Cheyenne is guest starring.

I know people seem to really like that show!
Cheyenne, *sigh*. I just want to hug his thigh.
Now all I need is an Orsino and all will be perfect.
Just hug it?
Ok. You can have one thigh. I want the other one.. and the chest.
