A guy in my office is scheduled to fly home to Seattle on Christmas Day. I showed him your posts on the other thread. He's now chceking his reservation to see if he's still scheduled.

They said that if you have a reservation, you should be ok. It's all the people whose flights have been canceled because there is no way they can get them out.

Though we are expecting another storm Wed into Thursday, so he better keep an eye on things.

Okay, my latkes ain't too bad - most are in the oven, but what wouldn't fit on two cookie sheets, I mixed in with chicken and lightly sauteed. Yum!

If anyone can come up with a logical reason why we're about to try and fly to central Michigan in the midst of these winter storms, I'd be happy to hear it.

So far, all I can come up with is some rambling nonsense that basically boils down to us being insane.

And it involves a LOT of unprintable words.
