Hey DD!
I like them both. Somehow, I even manage to make "ya'll" sound Jersey. That takes talent!

Posted: 2/17/09 at 12:47pmHubby is flying out of here in rain/sleet/snow tomorrow. He's a real white-knucle flyer, even under the best circumstances, but after last week's accident, he's REALLY nervous. I hope you're not getting bad weather in Chicago tomorrow, Brd - he's flying into Midway. They'll have to take him off the plane on a stretcher.

What was the excuse of the bus company for their failure to provide transport last week?

Backing up to Brd's bar exam story - I got my letter, and it was relatively thin (which was a good sign), and got a bottle of Tequila next to me with a shot glass just in case. I opened and the first emotion was relief, and then satisfactiono. I had moved back home after law school no money and no job at the time) and my mom was next door just holding her breath. I was just silent, enjoying the moment when she came back over to see what had happened. I think the silence scared her!
That night, I drank more combo's of alcohol than I can remember, starting with black russians, and moving on to champagne, shooters and shots (hey, it was free!).
That is the last time I was really, really, get sick drunk.
The rain stopped for now, so hopefully we will revert back to our normal weather. We do not do rain well!
